Delos
The island that stopped drifting
Delos was a star that fell into the sea and drifted until someone needed it.

Chapter I
The myth
Only that wandering island took her in.

Asteria leapt into the sea to escape Zeus and became a drifting island, without roots, carried this way and that by the water. Some time later, Leto was searching for a place to give birth, and no land dared to receive her. Only that wandering island took her in.
When Leto set foot on it, the poets say, four columns rose from the depths of the earth and held it fast forever. Leaning against a palm tree, Leto gave birth to Apollo, the god of light, and to Artemis. Delos became sacred, the center of the circle of islands we have called the Cyclades ever since. The treasury of an entire alliance of Greek cities was kept there.
Chapter II
On Contadora
Colonial erapearls were counted here before being shipped to Spain

The Cyclades revolve around Delos. The Pearl Islands revolved around Contadora. In colonial times, the pearls taken from the seabed around all the islands were brought here to be counted before being shipped to Spain. Hence its name: Contadora, “the one who counts.”
Delos kept the treasure of Greece; Contadora counted the treasure of the Pacific. Each is the center of its circle. And reaching either one amounts to the same thing: you stop drifting.

Chapter III
Your ritual
Wake up before dawn and go out to greet the light under a palm tree. It is the oldest gesture on this island.
The room
The first light of day
The brightest room in the villa: warm white, pale wood, and linen. It is designed to receive the first light of day, the light that came to Delos with Apollo.
Reference images: the photo shoot on Contadora will replace them. The room details (size, beds, view and capacity) will be published with the real data.
